LET'S MEET

Hi! I'm Eline Bouwman.

I'm an Dutch architect with a deep passion for Healthcare Architecture and Healthy Buildings. I put together this website to showcase my current and previous work, as well as to express what drives me.

I have spent many years to study and conduct various research on dementia-friendly architecture, illness dementia, indoor climate and the indoor environment while working towards the Master of Architectural Engineering and the Master of Building Technology at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. I have translated my knowledge gained from these researches in design guidelines for a comfortable and pleasant living environment, as well as written articles for prominent publications.

After two years of working as an indoor environmental consultant in The Hague, I moved to Singapore where I work currently as a medical planner / project coordinator, where I play a key role in coordinating & liaising with external stakeholders and organizing user group engagements.

During my time in B+H Architecture in Singapore I participated in the "B+H Catalyst Talent Program", and got EDAC and WELL certified.

MY PASSION

In short, my passion is Healthy Healthcare.

My graduation topic was Architecture for people with Dementia. After this is I worked for companies where I could develop my passion for Healthcare design.

Healthcare's fundamental mission is "first, do no harm". The irony that a building, especially a healthcare facility can cause Sick Building Syndrome, makes creating healthy buildings an important goal.

Do you want to know where my passion comes from?
