CHANGI GENERAL HOSPITAL - MEDICAL CENTRE

The Changi General Hospital's new medical centre facilitates a new model of care called Multi-specialty practices. This allows patients with multiple conditions to make just one stop for treatment by the possibility to see different specialty doctos on the same day.

The nine-storey centre houses 14 specialist outpatient clinics and centres that treat multiple conditions, from eye to renal problems. It has over 130 consultation rooms, and multiple minor surgery rooms that will take load of operating theatres in the main building. Located on the first floor is also its own pharmacy and above the clinics are 5 floors of offices, staff training facilities and a staff childcare centre.

The new medical centre, which is linked to the main hospital, has a corrior running behind the clinics so that doctors can easily collaborate and speak to another specialist.
